Woman Missing for Four Days Found Dead in Urlabari, Morang

The body of a woman who had been missing for four days was found near a stream in Urlabari Municipality-1, Laxmijhar, in Morang district.

The deceased has been identified as approximately 45-year-old Sabita Limbu. According to local residents, her body was discovered on Tuesday morning by villagers who had gone to graze cattle in the area. They immediately informed the police after spotting the body.

A team from the Area Police Office, Urlabari, reached the scene and has begun an investigation along with legal procedures related to the incident.

Locals said the body was found in a swollen condition. Police stated that the victim was identified by her husband based on the clothes she was wearing.

Authorities said the cause of death has not yet been determined. Preparations are underway to send the body for post-mortem examination.
