32 Injured in School Bus accident in Udayapur

A school bus traveling from Mahottari to Sunsari met with an accident in Udayapur on Friday morning, leaving 32 people injured.

According to traffic police, the bus (registration number Ba 2 Kha 6438) crashed at around 9:00 AM in the Andheri area of Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-7. The vehicle reportedly veered off the road and plunged approximately 25 meters down a slope.

Police personnel and local residents jointly rescued the injured passengers and transported them to Udayapur District Hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the exact cause of the accident has not yet been determined, and further details are being collected. The District Police Office, Udayapur, stated that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
