Police have destroyed illegal marijuana and opium farms covering about 14 bighas of land in different areas of Makwanpur.

According to Makwanpur Police, opium cultivated on 12 bighas of land and marijuana grown on 2 bighas were cleared and destroyed.

The police said the illegal marijuana and opium farming in Kailash Rural Municipality wards 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8 in northern Makwanpur has been destroyed since Magh 16.
