The body of a man was found in an irrigation canal in Okhaldhunga district, police said.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Ratna Bahadur Mohora of Halesi Salle, Ward No. 9 of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality in Khotang district.

According to the Nepal Police Central News Desk, Mohora’s body was discovered in a canal at Tarikhet in Ward No. 4 of Siddhicharan Municipality.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are carrying out further inquiries.
