A man has been arrested in Hupsekot on suspicion of killing his father, according to the District Police Office. The incident occurred in Jukepani village, Hupsekot Rural Municipality.

The suspect is identified as Sant Bahadur BK, a 30-year-old son, who allegedly assaulted his 60-year-old father, Ram Bahadur BK, leading to the fatality.

The assault reportedly followed a minor domestic dispute on Tuesday. Ram Bahadur was seriously injured during the altercation and was transported to the District Hospital for treatment. Physicians at the hospital subsequently pronounced him deceased upon arrival.
