Two Indian nationals have been arrested in Kathmandu’s Gaushala–Pingalasthan area on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking, police said.

A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau detained the suspects after opening fire late at night. Authorities believe the individuals were engaged in illegal drug trade activities.

The vehicle they were travelling in has also been taken into custody.

Further details about the incident are yet to be released.
