Youth Arrested in Kathmandu with Illegal Drugs

Police have arrested a young man with illegal drugs in Beshigaun, Gokarneshwor Municipality-8, Kathmandu.

A joint team from the Nepal Police Crime Investigation Bureau and the Bouddha Police Circle arrested 21-year-old Pemba Tamang. He is originally from Ranichuri Rural Municipality-3, Sindhuli, and was living in Beshigaun.

Police found 162 ampoules of drugs in his rented room at the house of local resident Shyam Khaleda. The seized drugs include 54 pieces of Phenergan, 54 pieces of Diazepam, and 54 pieces of Norphin.

Tamang has been taken into custody at the Bouddha Police Circle for further investigation.
